Hi, I'm Bri and I'm the creator behind Blanket Fort Crafts. I've always loved crafting as long as I could remember. My mind feels like its floating on clouds whenever I'm creating art, like I'm in the space where true peace & untethered creativity meet. Call me sentimental or a pack rat, but I've always been one to keep every card I've ever been written, ticket stubs to concerts (heck, I even kept the ballet tickets to my first date with my now husband--guess I knew we'd last), and random ephemera that reminds me of special moments. When I discovered junk journaling - the fun, whimsy version of scrapbooking - I thought, "a creative way to display all my 'random kept memories'? Sign me up." I quickly became enamored with this low pressure way of creating. I came up with the idea in the shower (where all great ideas are born) to start a junk journal subscription business and in a month's time launched it and here you are reading about it on a website I built in one night. I thought, how cute would it be to receive actually cute junk journal supplies on your doorstep every month. I want Blanket Fort Crafts to feel like a love letter to your inner child. Remember those days of building a blanket fort or crafting with glue covered fingers in your classroom? I hope that your inner child feels safe to be you & you find the joy in creating.
